I’m an award-winning UX director specialising in design department and project strategy, accessibility, localisation, leadership and operations.

I approach my work with an experience-first, content-driven mindset. No matter what the user or business goals are, I ensure that information architecture and clear communication are central to an effective solution.

Personal

Away from the words, my biggest passion is music. I’ve been a drummer for over 20 years, playing anything from indie to drum and bass and hip hop to folk. Some of my old bands were quite big back in the day. These days I focus on collaborations with friends, a personal street-drumming project and session work through music schools and studios.

I’m also a huge cricket nerd. My ultimate dream is to give up the day job and follow the England team around the world. I’d never see winter again, but that’s just fine by me.

My mum will tell you I’m charming, polite and a strapping young lad (I’m 39). My girlfriend will tell you I’m thoughtful, perceptive, funny and quietly confident. I’ll tell you I’m an egoless creative with a big-picture brain, logical mind and a love for detail.
